BookingBooster wins business from MSA operator in the UK
Welcome Breaks signs group agreements with Booking Booster
Welcome Break Group UK, the second largest MSA operator in the UK with a portfolio of 21 hotels, has signed an agreement to roll out the new Web 3.0 Channel Management and Internet Distribution platform from BookingBooster to enhance its business processes. The new systems have been trialled at two of the hotels and the remaining hotels are scheduled to be rolled out ongoing over a period of 2 months.
Welcome Break needed to significantly reduce the time it took to manage its online distribution channels. Previously this function took several hours per day to update its rates and availability on its online distribution channels.

In addition, its allows us to prioritise our distribution channels so that we can give our closest partners the best available inventory”
“BookingBooster has spent 18 months on its technology and uses new and innovative Web 2.0 features to assist hoteliers to distribute their products on the Internet. We are delighted to have Welcome Break as a partner” said Peter Carlsen, CEO of BookingBooster.

orldwide New Web-based Hotel Extranet Room Allocation Tool
Booking Booster 2.01 launches 31st of July 2006
Who hasn’t used online portals like Expedia, Lastminute, or Hotels Direct to find the best hotel rates for their weekend away?
They’ve become a part of everyday life for the value-conscious consumer. Up to 85% of hotel bookings are now made via the Internet. For hoteliers, however, managing these ‘extranets’ effectively and marketing their hotel online can be a major challenge in terms of time and resources.
Peter Carlsen of BSD Europe, Brighton, aims to change this with his innovative web-based application that provides an integrated approach to hotel online marketing. Booking Booster 2.01 launches in July 2006. Its core application makes managing extranet partners fast and easy: use it to instantly upload room availability and rates, and track all bookings, online and in real time. Then compare online partners to see which offer the best revenue potential. Booking Booster’s add-on applications include a well-designed hotel website with real-time room availability, allowing clients to make direct bookings online. It’s search-engine optimised, so more potential customers visit the website. The final part of the package: an integrated Pay Per Click (PPC) web marketing campaign, with Google as partner.
Booking Booster is the first application of its kind to integrate third-party distribution and room revenue management with a hotel’s own web presence and general marketing.
Designed to give an immediate return on investment, Booking Booster is simple and intuitive to use, requiring no additional software or IT expertise. Hoteliers will be able to interact directly with the web application through the Booking Booster website, managing their entire online presence and marketing strategy, online and in real time.
Peter Carlsen, CEO and creator of Booking Booster, has over 20 years’ experience in the hotel industry and has acted as a management consultant to hotels worldwide. His awareness of the challenges and requirements of running a successful hotel business were the inspiration behind Booking Booster, and hoteliers and hotel management specialists have been involved at every stage of development and testing.
‘We’re very excited about Booking Booster. We’ve succeeded in creating an application that makes working life easier for hoteliers, taking away the pain of some tedious daily tasks, while boosting sales and profits. What we are offering has never been available before. Booking Booster is a powerful management tool, certainly, but the Booking Booster concept extends even further into areas of hotel marketing. An online presence is absolutely vital for hotels in today’s market. It is my vision to enable hotel operations to become better focused in their marketing approach and achieve significantly better results. The suite of tools we have developed enable hoteliers to do just that.’
